     Talitha Cumy "Dee"
Stump, 81, of 109 N. Fort
St., Strasburg, died Satur-
day at her residence.
     A funeral will be held at
2 p.m. today at the Stover
Funeral Home in Stras-
burg with the Rev. J.
Edward Messick officiat-
ing. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery at
     Mrs. Stump was born
Oct. 31, 1902, at Lexington,
daughter of the late David
and Nancy Ann Entsm-
inger. She was married to
the late Benjamin
Franklin Stump.
     Surviving are five child-
ren, Wallace E. Stump of
Augusta, Ga., Stella B.
Burmeister of Rothbury,
Mich., Priscilla A. Atkins
of Toms Brook, Franklin
B. Stump of Strasburg and
Aubry E. Stump of Mid-
dleburg; 18 grandchildren;
and 16 great- grandchildren.
     Pallbearers will be
Eugene Orndorff, Richard
Stickley, John Williams,
Delmar Hines, Walter
Jenkins and Jack Drooger.
     The family will meet at
the funeral home at 1:30
p.m. today.

     Benjamin Franklin Stump, 67,
of 528 West King Street, Stras-
burg, died yesterday morning at
6:30 o'clock at his home.
     Funeral services will be held
Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock
in the chapel of Stover Funeral
Home, Strasburg. The Rev. Dr.
Harry M. Crim will officiate. In-
terment will be in Riverview
Cemetery, Strasburg.
     He was born April 12, 1899,
in Warren County, a son of Frank-
lin Benjamin and Artie Ritenour
Stump. He was a veteran of World
War I.
     He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Talitha C. Entsminger Stump, and
the following children, Wallace
Stump of Fort Gordon, Ga., Mrs.
Scetta Burmeister of Route 1,
Rothbury, Mich., Mrs. Percilla
Tubb of Oxon Hill, Md., Frank-
lin Stump of Washington, D.C.,
and Aubrey Stump of Front Royal
and 17 grandchildren.
     Also surviving are one brother,
Wesley Stump of Manassas, and
four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Miller
of Front Royal, Mrs. Gertie Saf-
fell of Oxon Hill, Md., Mrs. Gus-
sie Shear of Washington, D.C.,
and Mrs. Helen Owings of Vir-

Home, Strasburg.
     The family will meet at the late
home prior to the service.
