Nancy F. Griffey
     Nancy Frances Griffey, 85, of
29287 Old Valley Pike, Strasburg,
died Thursday at Shenandoah
Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.
     The funeral will be conducted
Monday at 2 p.m. at Stover Funeral
Home in Strasburg by the Rev. John
F. Taylor Jr. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg.
     Mrs. Griffey was born July 11,
1911, in Rockbridge County, daugh-
ter of the late Graham McDowell
and Melinda Ann Entsminger
Smith. She was a homemaker and a
member of St. Paul Lutheran
Church in Strasburg. She was the
wife of the late Boyd Clifton Griffey.
     Surviving are two daughters,
Nancy A. Hines and Barbara E.
Racey, both of Strasburg; a son,
Aubrey A. Griffey of Woodbridge; a
sister, Ethel M. Stokes of Strasburg;
10 grandchildren and five great-
     Pallbearers will be Robert Rosen-
berger, Glen Kibler, Phillip Crabill,
John Hall, Brent Williams, Tom
Kibler and Luke Rogers.
     Honorary pallbearers will be
James Wilson, Thomas Racey Jr.,
Michael Racey and Jeffrey Racey.
     The family will receive friends
Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funer-
al home and will meet there Monday
at 1:30 p.m.

Nancy Smith Griffey
     Nancy Smith Griffey, 85, of Fish-
ers Hill died Thursday at Shenan-
doah Memorial Hospital.
     Funeral arrangements, which are
being handled by the Stover Funeral
Home in Strasburg, were incom-
plete Thursday night.
