Laura T. Jenkins, b.ca.1870; Shenandoah Co. VA; m.4/29/1888; Shenandoah Co. VA; George W. Good, b.ca.1861; Son of Samuel J. Good & Ann Levena Stubblefield; (George, m-1. (unknown),) Both were living in Shenandoah Co. VA prior to marriage. The marriage record lists him as widower. Also on the marriage record is the statement "consent of John Funk, to whom bride was bound". According to Nancy (Whittington) Ritter, in her later years Laura was a housekeeper for some old man (I don't remember his name). When this person died his son had her sent to an asylum somewhere. From what I was told , she wasn't insane and was only sent there because the man's son didn't want to care for her. She eventually died there. No issue.
