I'm putting this out here and typing this in for those of you having problems accessing NC background information and because some of you have contacted me for information. There is a paper trail.

With the westward bug moving in to check out what lies beyond the bend, the Oneidas at Ft. Harkimer ceded to NY State their lands. This also included the land the Tuscarora was on when they 1st migrated from NC.

A new Tuscarora Village around 1820 was settled along the Niagara River. Some were at Grand River in Canada, some were at Oneida and others in NC.
