I intentionally used this word to help elevate the manmade paper trails and the non-uniform guidelines as to how one's name may or may not have made it on the ROLL CALL depending on who was calling the roll and who was drawing up the roll.

Bottom Line: Oftentimes depending on who you were related to or knew and where they determined you came from or how you should be "recognized" on certain rolls were crafted and used to pit one against another..side against side and so on.

It is important those individuals that believe they have Tuscarora bloodlines be able to identify those role models that raises the standards on not only what it means to be INDIAN but to know most likely the Tuscarora Way depending on where one calls home.
